Fred B. Dinger III
President & CEO / Board Member
Mr. Dinger's over 25 years of experience ranges from product engineering to corporate management, including executive positions in Research and Development and Company Operations. His expertise has helped both large and small companies in need of significant change or complete turnaround. Prior to ENTrigue, Mr. Dinger served as President and Chief Executive Officer at C2M Medical and OsteoBiologics, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at A-Med Systems, Vice President of Research and Development at Xomed Surgical Products and Linvatec Corporation, and Supervising Engineer in the Space and Strategic Avionics Division at Honeywell.
Mr. Dinger earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from University of South Florida. He holds numerous device and method patents as inventor and serves on the Board of Directors for several privately held medical device companies and a faith-based charity.
Joseph D. Oliver III
COO & CFO
Mr. Oliver has over 25 years of financial and business operations experience with both public and private companies, including the management of turnarounds, financial restructurings, integration of acquisitions, strategic shifts in core operations, and maturation of early-stage companies. Previously, Mr. Oliver served as Chief Financial Officer at C2M Medical, OsteoBiologics, and two early-stage software technology companies. He also served as CFO at three private healthcare product and services companies, CFO and Executive Vice President at an international agribusiness product company, Treasurer and Director of Planning at an international marine-based energy product and service company, Assistant Treasurer at a private-family energy and investment management company, and a Senior Staff Professional at an international public accounting firm.
Mr. Oliver is a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Mississippi.
Gabriele G. Niederauer, PhD
Sr. VP of Technology & Development
Dr. Niederauer has more than 20 years of experience in the study, development, and commercialization of medical devices for orthopedic, dental, and ENT tissue repair. Her current responsibilities include product development, management of experimental, preclinical, and clinical studies, and preparation of regulatory filings. Previously, she served as Vice President of Research and Development at C2M Medical and Director of Research and Development at OsteoBiologics.
Dr. Niederauer completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Engineering at Iowa State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering at Clemson University. She is widely published and a co-inventor of nine patents and seven applications for devices and methods used in surgical procedures and tissue engineering.
Prasad Nalluri
Vice President, Global Marketing
Mr. Nalluri has over 15 years experience developing and commercializing new-technology platforms, primarily for ENT surgery. Positions include Director of Marketing for Image Guided Surgery, Product Manager, and Senior R&D Engineer for Medtronic ENT, the world leader in ENT surgical platforms. He also held positions as Director of Emerging Technologies and Product Development Engineer for BioHorizons, one of the industry's largest privately held dental implant companies.
Mr. Nalluri's education includes an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and a B.S. in Engineering from Andhra University, India. He has also completed Medical Marketing Programs from the UCLA School of Management and NorthWestern University. He holds five patents for medical devices.
Mike Maczka
Director of Sales
Mr. Maczka brings over 20 years of medical sales and management experience to the ENTrigue management team. This includes positions as National Sales Manager at Arthrocare Foot & Ankle and Regional Manager at Arthrocare ENT. Previously, he served in various business development roles at several prominent medical products companies, including PIP, McGhan Medical, and Vistakon – a Johnson & Johnson company. His expertise in developing talent has helped build award-winning teams of independent and direct sales representatives.
Mr. Maczka received a B.S. in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
John T. Treace
Board Member
Mr. Treace currently serves as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and U.S. Sales at Wright Medical. Previously, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Biologics, Extremity, and Marketing and Senior Director of Biologics Marketing at Wright Medical; and Director of Marketing for Medtronic Xomed and its predecessor, Xomed Surgical Products, and TreBay Medical.
Mr. Treace received a B.A. in Finance from Seattle University.
Tony Natale, MD
Prism Venture Works / Board Member
As a member of Prism Venture Works' Life Sciences Investment Team, Dr. Natale combines extensive business, investment, and company formation experience with his background in clinical medicine to focus on medical devices investments. He is also on the Board of Directors for Avedro, a privately held, early-stage ophthalmic medical device and pharmaceutical company. Previously he was a Director and lead investor at several venture-backed life sciences companies, including Mako Surgical. Prior to joining Prism in 2006, Dr. Natale was a Venture Partner with MDS Capital. He built the firm's presence in the United States' Medtech venture community and led all investment activities for MDS's U.S. early-stage fund, playing a founding-investor role in multiple companies and substantially growing the firm's seed-stage presence and capabilities.
Dr. Natale trained in General Surgery and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Connecticut, holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine, and an M.B.A. from Yale University's School of Management.
Richard B. Emmitt
The Vertical Group / Board Member
Mr. Emmitt has over thirty years of health care industry investment experience including venture capital, investment research, and investment banking. As an investment analyst with Cyrus J. Lawrence and F. Eberstadt, Mr. Emmitt was recognized as one of the leading experts on the health care industry by Institutional Investor Magazine. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of American Medical Systems, BioSet, Galil Medical, Incumed, Tepha, and Tornier. He previously served on the Boards of Directors of ev3, OsteoBiologics, SciMed Life Systems, Xomed Surgical Products, and Wright Medical.
Mr. Emmitt received a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. from The Rutgers School of Business.
Donald Gonzales, MD
D3DC / Board Member
Dr. Gonzales is a clinical entrepreneur who combines both clinical and business experience to address the evolving needs of the medical community. As a General Partner at D3DC, a medical device development firm, Dr. Gonzales partners with entrepreneurs, institutions and corporations to fund, develop, and build medical devices. In 2004, he formed Xorbent Technologies, the first of several companies that would eventually become ENTrigue Surgical. Dr. Gonzales' experience as a practicing clinician includes Staff Physician at Tulane University and a private practice in Beverly, MA.
Dr. Gonzales graduated from Gordon College and Cornell University Medical College, and completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine. He has performed cutting-edge research at the Cardiovascular Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Strang Cancer Institute at Rockefeller University, and Cornell University. Dr. Gonzales is listed as an inventor on 15 patent applications for devices and methods in ENT surgical applications.
