Donald Gonzales, MD — Founder and Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Gonzales belongs to a rare class of clinical entrepreneurs who successfully blend their clinical experience and business outlook to address unmet needs within the medical community. In 2004, he formed the first of several companies including Xorbent Technologies, Xorbent L.L.C. and Xorbent, Inc., that would eventually merge to become ENTrigue Surgical, Inc. He has also performed cutting-edge research at the Cardiovascular Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Strang Cancer Institute at Rockefeller University, and Cornell University. Dr. Gonzales has also had active clinical practices as a staff physician at Tulane University and in private practice in Beverly, MA.

Dr. Gonzales graduated from Gordon College and Cornell University Medical College, then completed his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine. He is also listed as an inventor on six patent applications for devices and methods in ENT surgical applications.
