Dr. Niederauer has more than 20 years of experience in the study, development, and commercialization of biomaterials for orthopedic, dental, and ENT tissue repair. Previously she served as Vice President of Research and Development at C2M Medical and as Director of Research and Development at Osteobilogics, Inc. Her responsibilities also include coordination and management of experimental, preclinical, and clinical studies, and the planning and submission of regulatory filings.
Dr. Niederauer completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Engineering from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering from Clemson University. Dr. Niederauer is widely published and is a co-inventor of nine patents and seven applications for devices and methods used in surgical procedures and tissue engineering.
